Caustic soda is a natural by-product of chlorine production; in fact, the laws of chemistry state that for every ton of chlorine produced, approximately 1100 kilograms of caustic soda are produced, along with 28 kilograms of hydrogen. Application:

Caustic soda can be used in water treatment, synthetic soap, pesticides and mines.

A large amount of caustic soda is also used in the production of dyes, plastics, pharmaceuticals and organic intermediates, in the production of metal sodium, water electrolysis and inorganic salt production, and in the production of borax, chromium salts, manganates, phosphates, etc.

Sodium hydroxide is also one of the important raw materials for the production of polycarbonate, superabsorbent polymers, zeolites, epoxy resins, sodium phosphate, sodium sulfite and a large number of sodium salts.
