Product Description:
Caustic soda is the natural co-product of chlorine production; indeed, the laws of
chemistry define that for every tonne of chlorine you produce, about 1100 kg of
caustic soda is also produced, together with 28 kg of hydrogen.
Its chemical name is sodium hydroxide and chemical fomular is NaOH.
Generally, there are two forms for caustic soda: caustic soda liquid and caustic soda solid.
About caustic soda solid, the mainly forms are caustic soda flakes and caustic soda pearls.

Application:
Caustic soda including caustic soda flakes and pearls is a key component in many
important chemical processes. It is a basic inorganic chemicals raw material and
used in many industries.
Used in making soap, detergent,
As a bleaching agent in textiles dyeing, in paper and pulp industry, cellulose industry,
in inorganic chemicals like paints, glass and ceramics,
In the process of refining aluminium from its ore bauxite.
Other areas where caustic is issential are: water treatment, drilling mud in oilfield,
refining petroleum products, minerals extraction(mining), washing beer and soft drink bottles.
In food and drug industry, it is used as acidity regulator, alkali, impregnant’s pigment
and edible oil refining.
It constitutes an essential reactant in the production of many useful organic chemicals.
